Visit from Gran Gran
Gran Gran came to visit us this weekend...and by the way I am "officially" two months old today by the calendar. We had a great time this weekend, and she and Dodi babysat me and Porter so mom and dad could go out to dinner and to a party Saturday. I showed them, I fussed most of the time, and then I slept almost all night for mom and dad! I know what's what! You can tell that we are having a serious conversation in a couple of the pictures. I have started to "talk" and smile at people.
I also took a pic in a cute outfit from Auntie Lecil, and some precious booties from Lauren and Bennett. I am looking good! And there's one of me watching football. Like father, like son. I was mesmerised by the Panther's ability to get so many penalties in such a short time at the start of the game.
I'm taking a bath without the sling in my tub now. And I figured out how to kick the pole on my play mat to make the music come on. I also fill the Moses basket from end to end, which is a lot of growing in just two months.
I go back to see Dr. Golembe tomorrow, so I will see how much I weigh and how tall I am! I also have to get a few more shots, so feel sorry for me at 2:15 on Monday.
Night Night!

Eight Weeks Old
Wow...has it really only been two months? This week was lots of fun, a "Sip and See" for Dody and me, Festival in the Park, my sister's first soccer game, my first trip to church, whew! I am sleeping well and holding my head up for longer stretches. I have really started smiling, mostly on the changing table. Mom thinks I see angels because I stare at strange spots and just grin and grin. Special thanks to our friends Lee, Elizabeth and Lecil for all of the fabulous clothes! I am going to be lookin' good!
Sip and See
Dody's friends had a really nice party for us this week. I got passed around and snuggled by lots of women! Dad even hung around...I think he may have been jealous of all the attention I was getting since he has known most of these people since he was little. I had fun meeting so many new friends. My sister had more fun watching cartoons in the big bed.

Seven Weeks Old!

Six Weeks Old
I am six weeks old, one and a half months! Whew! I have gotten really big, and I am sleeping better at night. But mom and I have had a little bug this week, and I have also been a bit cranky in the evenings. I can hold my head up for longer periods of time, too.
This past week I spent Labor Day with Mom, Traci, Porter, Grumpa and Cuddie. Dad was hunting (opening day of dove season apparently.) Grumpa and I took a nice nap on the sofa while the girls laid out by the pool. The rest of the week was pretty typical, trips to Target and lunch with a few friends. This weekend was fun, we went to the Greek Fest. I didn't get to ride any rides this year, but I will be big enough in no time at all.
I got a new stroller and have been taking walks with Mom and Dad. I sleep most of the time, but it is nice to be outside.

Five Weeks Old
I took a road trip to Chapel Hill and Raleigh this past week. It was a sad occasion, my great grandad passed away and we attended his funeral. The silver lining was that I got to see so many loved ones for the first time. We had dinner with the Harris' in Chapel Hill, and stayed 2 nights in Raleigh with my Uncle Mike and my cousins Adam and Regan who live in San Francisco. I really liked meeting Adele, Carter and Aunt Lee and Uncle Chris. Carter and I are almost exactly a year apart in age. My Uncle Mike and I are both napping in our chairs as you you can see. The last picture is of my Uncle Mark...he is holding me for the first time now that I am not so tiny.
