At the Lake
Look at these cool pics I snapped of the fam while we were at the lake today. I'm a pretty good photographer, don't you think?

My Grand God Parents
On Sunday, I got to meet my Grand God Parents, Betty and Steve Bradley and my Aunt Jill and Uncle Steve...and I even have cousins! I strolled out on the dock, and enjoyed the nice weather while all of my new family members held me. Porter had her first solo ride behind the boat on the tube. I was napping at the house so she told me all about it. It was a great day. We had to head home, tomorrow is Porter's first day of school and we are all going. I love the Bradleys, they are the greatest!
Sissy's Special Day
I got to hang out with Porter all day on Saturday, as we celebrated her birthday a day early. She turned 7 on August 24th, and we picked up her friend Ansley and went to Extreme Blast fun center, I mostly slept and had a bottle while they played video games and jumped on all of the inflatables. My dad was killer at Whack a Mole and Ms. Pac Man. Then we went to Mr. K's for lunch! My mom and dad love that place. Porter and Ansley liked the ice cream, too. It must be cool to be 7. She has her birthday party at the pool next week, I can't wait for that!
Four Weeks Old
So much has happened this week! I met more friends, the Fords and the Bilgers came by to visit. So I met Carson, Robert, Caroline, Murphy and Davis...a lot of new playmates. I think Carson really liked my bouncy seat and Moses basket. See how cute she is! My friend Davis is only 4 months old, but he is a big boy! His mom said none of her babies were as small as me!
I went for a stroll downtown with my mom and Porter and their friend Darlene. We walked all the way down Tryon Street, it was a lot of fun. I was a little jealous of the pizza and ice cream Porter was eating, though.
I also went to a grown up party with my mom and dad. Yeah, they were "those people" who brought a baby to a party, but people seemed to like me. I met a few more of mom's friends from work. Nikki and Phil were two of my favorites.
My sister is home and we are having the best time together. She loves to sit and talk to me, and hold me. I love her to pieces.
Check out the next few blogs for more about some of my outings. In the meantime, here are a few pictures of my new friends.

Three Weeks Old
I am three weeks old today!! Has it really only been three weeks? I feel like it has been much longer than that, because I have already met so many people and done so many cool things. This week I had lots more friends come to visit. Mom's girlfriends from work came by. That Betsy was jealous of my swaddle and insisted that we try to bundle her up, too. Auntie Kathryn made us dinner, and a homemade peach cobbler! Bennett and Lauren Thompson stopped by and brought me some cute booties. We went to the lake for dinner at Grumpa and Cuddies, and I met some of my cousins and my Aunt and Uncle who live in Baltimore. Mom and Dad's friend Julie from Jackson Hole was in town, and we all went to dinner at Big Daddy's. I'm pretty sure the ladies on the patio were checking me out through the window.
The highlight of this past weekend was attending my first birthday party...Will Sullivan's mom and dad sure do know how to have fun. He had lots of friends and family around to watch him open presents and dive right into his very own birthday cake. Will's Great Granny held me, and I really like her. My great granny's are both in heaven so I think I will call her my Granny, too. And I received the most precious gift from Autie Lecil's mom Elaine (I don't think Will calls her Granny, though.) She gave me a hand-made Raggedy Andy doll. She gives one to each of her grandchildren, and I got one! Isn't that so sweet? I guess I make grandchild #8 for her. Whew! In other news, my dad had a few of the signature drinks at the party, the "Slick William." All I know is they were blue and seemed to make everyone happy.
I am pretty much on a schedule where I want to eat every three hours. Mom seems to be doing OK with it, but I catch her yawning a lot. I still get my dad with tee-tee from time to time, but I think we are all figuring each other out. I seem to be filling out more, so I will be sure to report a weigh-in soon.
My big sister comes home Wednesday, YAY! And we will get to meet her teacher later this week, so lots of big plans. More to come...stay tuned!

My Friend Hollister
My friend Hollister and his mommy Amy came over to play today. He wasn't very interested in me, he was having too much fun with mommy's cordless phone. I think he may have called China. They brought us a really good dinner. Mom said Amy's cooking has come a long way since the "tortilla soup" incident.
In other news, I went with mom to the Farmer's Market and then I took her out to lunch, just the two of us. We got lots of compliments on how cute I was. It was a lot of fun.

More New Friends
This week I met lots of new people. The Rickenbakers are so much fun! They brought my mom and dad a yummy dinner and visited with me. Mom's friends from work Shannon and Neha came by, and they brought mom and dad yummy food, too. The Schwings stopped by on their way out to dinner the same night the Holomans came over for dinner. Lots of food is making its way over here thanks to Auntie Kathryn who set up a meal delivery plan for us. This weekend Annzie and Traci came over to play...and guess what, Annzie brought food too! Whew! We are lucky to have such great friends taking care of us!
Bath Time!
Two Weeks Old
I am two weeks old today! And I have been at home for a little over a week. Mom and dad are still a little bit tired, but I am getting more alert every day. And I am growing. I gained 12 oz. last week!
Lots of friends stopped by to see me this week, and I met my pediatrician, Dr. Golembe. He was my dad's pediatrician, too! He is pretty cool.
My belly button fell off, so I got to take a bath in my tub. I really liked that, and didn't fuss at all.
I have been out of the house a few times, too. Claudia took mom and me to lunch at Providence Cafe, although I slept through it all. Then Mom and Dad and I went to Ru Sans with Lecil, Matt and Will. I hear it was fun, but I slept through that, too!
We watched the Panthers win their first pre-season game, and I have been watching the Olympics, too. There are some weird sports out there.
My big sister will be home next week, and we are all looking forward to that. We all miss her.
I am attending my first birthday party this weekend...Will Sullivan is turning one. I will be sure to try and stay awake for that.
